This is an 19th-century hand-painted porcelain plate featuring scalloped edges finished with ornate gold gilding. The border is divided into three decorative sections of delicately painted florals, each framed by detailed gilt accents, while the rim showcases a refined crisscross texture that contrasts with the smoother, flat panels where the floral motifs are placed. At the center of the plate is a finely hand-painted pastoral landscape depicting a mountain in the distance with trees and a cottage nestled among the foliage. In the foreground, a river runs alongside a cliff with a single prominent tree and scattered bushes. Two figures stand nearby, looking out over the water toward the mountains and cottage beyond. The back of the plate has no markings. As a hand-painted decorative piece, this plate was intended primarily for display rather than functional dining.
