This is a framed art print of A Lady’s Grey Hunter, created around 1806 by Jacques-Laurent Agasse. It depicts a horse standing in a landscape with trees in front of him and a hazy mountain in the distance. Agasse was a Swiss-born painter who worked extensively in England and was best known for his paintings of animals, particularly horses and dogs, often commissioned by members of the aristocracy. His work is associated with the Romantic period, with an emphasis on naturalism and the noble qualities of his subjects. The print is set in a simple thick gold frame and is ready to hang.
