This is a framed art print of The Two Leonores (Die beiden Leonoren), originally created circa 1834 by Carl Ferdinand Sohn. It depicts Eleonora d’Este and Eleonora San Vitale, two aristocratic women associated with the 16th-century Italian poet Torquato Tasso, shown in an intimate and contemplative moment. Sohn was a German painter of the Düsseldorf School, best known for his finely detailed portraits of aristocratic women and his idealized, romanticized approach to the human figure. The print is set in a gold frame with etched floral details and is ready to hang.
