This is a print of a portrait of Henri-Ernest Grout de Beaufort, painted in 1818 by Pierre-Paul Prud'hon. Henri was just 20 years old at the time, captured with youthful presence and poise. Grout de Beaufort later became known for his contributions to botany and exploration, while Prud’hon was celebrated for his elegant Neoclassical style and masterful portraits of notable figures. The print is set in a black and gold ornate frame and is ready to hang.
