It depicts the tragic figure of Ophelia floating in a river surrounded by dense, richly detailed foliage, her expression serene as she drifts among the flowers. Millais was a British painter and a founding member of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, known for his meticulous attention to detail, vivid naturalism, and literary subject matter often drawn from Shakespeare and other classic sources. The print is set in a gold ornate frame and is ready to hang.
