This is a framed giclée print of a portrait traditionally identified as Louise Bénédicte de Bourbon, Duchess of Maine, created in the circle of French painter Pierre Mignard. Mignard was known for his portraits of French royalty and aristocracy, particularly during the Baroque period. Louise Bénédicte de Bourbon was a French princess and the wife of Louis Auguste, Duke of Maine. The portrait depicts her with an ornate updo decorated with pearls and wearing a dark green embroidered gown. The print is framed in a muted silver frame with etched details and hangs with a metal hook attached to olive green ribbon.
