This is a framed print of the famous Italian ballerina Marie Taglioni performing a Spanish dance from the ballet La Gitana. It is based on a hand-colored lithograph from approximately 1840, after a drawing by J. Bouvier. Taglioni was known for her ethereal roles and helped define the Romantic era of ballet. The print is set in a gold ornate frame with a creamy white linen border and a custom pink and red striped fabric mat. The framed art print is ready to hang.
