This is a small bust of Scheherazade, Mille et Une Nuits, after Emmanuel Villanis (1858–1914). Scheherazade, the legendary storyteller of One Thousand and One Nights, is celebrated for her intelligence and wit in captivating King Shahryar with tales that saved her life. Believed to be made of bronze, this detailed sculpture captures her exotic elegance and makes a striking display on a shelf, desk, or mantel.
